Training for 1st Degree Blackbelt

              Today is 08/27/2017. I needed to discuss or go over my experiences back in the 80's when I was training for my 1st degree Blackbelt 1981 - 1988. The audience I am trying to reach is the common person man or woman this is not for Politicians, Celebrities, or rich billionaires.                 In the 80's, When you were up for your Blackbelt test this required mental and physical preparation and to drive home the point one day back around 1987 my master showed us a live training session on North Koreans training in Tae-Kwon-Do in the sea of Japan water temp. 50 degrees roughly. This made me think a lot about my training and how I want to train and had a year to get ready for this I was fired up and had dreams of after getting my 1st degree Blackbelt I would goto Japan and get the opportunity to fight for a world title shot or work at it . At the time, I was working on 3rd shift as a computer operator so I was saving money in the process.                Cle

Crouse             I would like to discuss when I began my Martial Arts training.  I had a lot of factors that contributed to my wanting to study the martial arts and I can remember that as a boy in Hawaii about six or seven years I flew a kite off the lagoon and a kid about twelve years old asked if I wanted to fight I asked him what is fight he told me to roll my string in and bring my kite in so I did. I was backfisted in the nose and my kite busted and broken with a bloody nose.            In another instance, My Dad was in the Navy back in the late 60's and they were burning sugar canes and I contracted Asthma as a result my mother gave me yoga breathing exercises from her book and I learned how to breathe from than on.

                                                 August 2017 Training 08/02/2017 Completed 115 knee, punch, kick combos began working on low round house kick with hook kick, completed 6 rounds kickboxing with 1 inch string tied to a string spinning hook kick was right on target today combos were fluid. 08/04/2017 Extended Jogging, 57 Pushups, 11 Triangle Pushup, 50 Rock Granite strikes. 08/05/2017 Completed 115 knee, punch, kick combos and 6 rounds kickboxing with 1 inch stick tied to a strings. 08/06/2017 Completed Jogging, 60 pushups, 15 Triangle pushups, 50 Rock Granite Granite strikes. 08/08/2017 Completed 115 knee, punch, kick combos and 6 rounds kickboxing with 1 inch stick tied to a string.
